The goal of the seminar is to present modern tools aimed at making informed decisions in public health, share the experience of solving the urgent problems of public health in Latvia and Baltic countries and discuss the current issues in the field.

During the seminar, Drs. E. Romero-Severson and D. Gromov will give a mini-course on “Dynamic triage of limited public health resources: models as tools for making real-world decisions”, continued by the presentations of course participants and a panel discussion. At the seminar, you will have the opportunity to elaborate on the challenges you are facing and discuss possible directions for cooperation. The event will be held in English.

The seminar is organized by the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Optometry of the University of Latvia and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Latvia with the financial support of BAFF - Baltic-American Freedom Foundation.
